The Melton Foundation

The Melton Foundation was established in 1991 to develop a worldwide network of talented people from diverse cultural backgrounds, with the aim of bringing positive change in the world. The Melton Foundation program brings together competitively selected university students of all disciplines in collaboration with its partner universities in Chile, China, Germany, India, and the USA by using innovative online and face-to-face meetings to do educational and social projects, activities, and events related to inter-cultural and global issues. A global network, The Melton Fellowship is envisioned as a “lifelong fellowship.” Currently 63 Fellows are in the three-year undergraduate ‘Junior Fellowship’ and over 300 are ‘Senior Fellows’ who have successfully completed their university-based program. This diverse group, spread all over the world pursuing varied professions, contributes to the governance, management, and vitality of the Melton Foundation’s global network. The Melton Fellowship is a lifelong commitment and the Fellows remain connected even after many years of graduation.

B.M.S. College of Engineering

The B. M. Sreenivasaiah College of Engineering, is one of the most reputed engineering college in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. The college started in 1946, by eminent philanthropist Bhusanayana Mukundadas Sreenivasaiah(BMS) was one of the first private sector initiatives in technical education in India. Popularly known as “BMS”, it is located on the Bull Temple Road, opposite to the famous Bull Temple in South Bangalore. Though a private engineering college, it is partially funded by the Government of Karnataka. It has the largest student population of engineering colleges in Karnataka, drawing students from other states of India and abroad. BMSCE offers undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral courses in various streams of engineering and also post graduate courses such as MBA. Nearly 30,000 engineers around the world hail BMSCE as their Alma Mater.
